Zephyr-ium -Comfort for those who are StressedGreets all, Recently some of the editors study-buddies have admitted to being a little stressed. The editor has been a little stressed. Below is the contents of an email sent to one such study-buddy who needed some encouragement: I too struggle, I have posted the physical and mental effects of my latest battles, recently. However, it is the duty of each and every Believer to show the face or facet of G*d one to another, saved or unsaved, he or she needs to see. To that end, If I were requested by the L*rd to stand in front of you as His emmisary of comfort and reassurance, I would tell you these things: "I love you my child and I see your suffering, by your own hand and by that of your adversary. Remember my servant Job? He walked blameless in my sight. I was pleased with him. I blessed him and he enjoyed my blessing for many years. Both he and his family and friends saw my love for a faithful(faith filled) servant. However, the blessings he received were not a Father spoiling a favored son, rather they were to demonstrait my love for the faithful servant who persevers through tradgedy having done nothing to merit destruction and desolation. Remember the adversary had to 'ask ME' for permission to harm Job's assets, then family, then his very life. I gave permission. Did Job do something to anger Me? Nope. Did he deserve desolation as just compensation and his wages from Me? Nope. Then why L*rd, you ask Me. And I tell you the same I tell all your brothers and sisters in our family, just the same thing your firstborn brother, my Annointed Son, told you; It is for my Father's glory to be made manifest that this man was born blind, neither he nor his parents sinned in this case.So my Child, whom I love and cherish, rest yourself under the shadown of my Wings. I will preserve and protect my own dear little children even unto the end." So my friends, I hope you are comforted and reassured that the L*rd we serve is still keenly interested in our welfare. Who can tell what awesome surprises he has hidden in the closet for some special day, just like our parents did for us for no particular reason. Pretty paper, fancy ribbons and the thrill of receiving a present from Mom or Dad for no specail reason? With a tissue for your tears, and a friendly hug... Walksbyfaith |
